The Camby Hotel, located in the Biltmore neighborhood of Phoenix, boasts 277 regionally-inspired rooms along with 2 restaurants and bars. The Camby's kitchen DHW system was outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade, but space was at a premium. The mechanical room at The Camby made the footprint requirement for this replacement quite a challenge. The design engineer, ExpandCG, approached the Laars representative MPSW for a solution.
HACI Mechanical partnered with MPSW for a solution that not only satisfied the footprint dilemma but also offered higher efficiency and system redundancy. MPSW provided two 500 MBH NeoTherm volume water heaters (NTV0500) and two 120 gallon storage tanks. Jessica Wozniak of MPSW says, "the facility is thrilled with the Laars setup!"
